Mrs. Heinsius, 81, of Shrewsbury and formerly of Red Bank, Little Silver and Rumson, died July 16, 2010, at the Meridian Nursing and Rehabilitation facility in Shrewsbury. She was a substitute teacher in the Rumson school system and later a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker. Mrs. Heinsius was a member of the Deal Country Club, Sea Bright Beach Club, St. George’s-by-the-River Episcopal Church in Rumson, the Ariel Club and the Junior League. A sister, Audrey Hummer, predeceased her. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Howard; three daughters, Lynn of Tinton Falls, Lee of Red Bank and Diane Richards of Berlin, Conn.; a granddaughter; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held at St. George’s-by-the- River Church. The Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
