Ms. Gilbertson, 82, of Rumson, died Aug. 12, 2010. She was an avid sportswoman and an interior decorator. Ms. Gilbertson was a member of the Sea Bright Beach Club and the Rumson Country Club, where she was the ladies golf champion several times and a past board member. She was a former member of the board of the Children’s Psychiatric Center, a member and past president of the Women’s N.J. Golf Association and a member of the U.S. Seniors Women’s Golf Association. Surviving are two sons, Hank, and his wife, Nancy, of Rumson, and Mark of New York and Rumson; and a brother, Frederick F. Schock III, and his wife, Sandra, of Stuart, Fla. A funeral service was held at the Rumson Presbyterian Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Monmouth Conservation Foundation, P.O. Box 4150, Middletown, NJ 07748. The Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
