Bakers needed for annual Gingerbread Walk in Red Bank

RED BANK — Red Bank RiverCenter is seeking local bakers for the third annual Gingerbread Walk.

The downtown business alliance is looking for local bakers, restaurants, caterers and schools willing to donate their time and talents to create unique gingerbread creations.

The gingerbread creations will be displayed at various Red Bank businesses from Nov. 25 until Dec. 21. Each baker will have their name and/or business name prominently listed.

In addition, visitors can vote for their favorite gingerbread creation at each location and have the opportunity to enter to win the Red Bank grand prize raffle, which includes tickets to the Count Basie Theatre, a Red Bank gift card and other prizes to be announced.

The winning gingerbread creation will be featured in all post-event publicity in January, including press releases in many local newspapers, photos on the River- Center website, Facebook and other media sources.

The Red Bank businesses will be collecting donations during the Gingerbread Walk for Holiday Express, a local nonprofit organization that delivers music, food, gifts, financial support and friendship to those with the greatest need for the gift of human kindness during the holiday season and throughout the year. Visit www.holidayexpress.org for more information.

Anyone interested in participating in the Gingerbread Walk, or who would like more information, is asked to contact Joyce Cataldo at RiverCenter at 732-842-4244 or joyce@redbankrivercenter.orgy
