Spectators are dressed in pink for a “Pink Out” basketball game between the Rumson-Fair Haven High School and Red Bank Regional High School basketball teams on Feb. 2. The game was held in conjunction with the “Shoot for a Cure” breast cancer fundraiser that benefited the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center at Monmouth Medical Center.

Red Bank Parks & Recreation is co-sponsoring a co-ed adult volleyball league set to begin Feb. 21. Games will be played at Red Bank Middle School on Tuesday nights. Sign up a team or as an individual. The league is open to Red Bank residents and nonresidents age 21 and older. All ability levels are welcome, since the emphasis is on having fun and meeting new people. The deadline to register is Feb. 14. Carnevale, the Italian Mardi Gras Festival, will be hosted by the Italian American Association of Monmouth County 2-6 p.m. Feb. 19 at Eagle Oaks Country Club, 20 Shore Oaks Drive, Farmingdale.
