Sickles hosts annual Artists’ Weekend

LITTLE SILVER — Sickles Market’s will host its Annual Artists’ Weekend 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Feb. 11-12.

Each day, approximately a dozen artists and artisans will display their art and hold demonstrations in Sickles’ greenhouse. The event is free to the public. Artwork is for sale with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the artists.

Artists work in mediums ranging from watercolors, oils, pen and ink, photography, textiles, recycled materials and more.

Artists scheduled for Saturday Feb 11 are: Leslie Eaton, jewelry; Francine Girmonte, handcrafted pieces and jewelry; Doreen Catena, chairs and coasters; Kim Levin, photography; Mike Quon, graphic artist; Ken Klohn, drawings; Ayala Naphtali, jewelry; and Red Bank Regional High School students Amber Czesnolowicz, Terrill Warrenburg, and Kelly McAdam.

Artists who will be in the greenhouse on Sunday Feb 12: Laurel Lee, jewelry; Laurie Olefson, jewelry; Bruce Perlmutter, woodturner; Demetrius Patterson, paintings; Mary Christensen , pastels; Lola Adolf, paintings of local scenery; Laura McHugh, vintage jewelry; Viki Reed, photography; Becky Polenberg, sculpture/painting and Jennifer Lukowiak, clay/pottery.

Sickles Market, located at 1 Harrison Ave. is a third-generation familyowned market.
