Mark S. Gibson
Mr. Gibson, of Red Bank, died Jan. 27, 2012, at home. After high school in San Francisco, he joined the U.S. Navy. During his three-year stint on active duty, Mr. Gibson was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Training Center, where he completed his training as an electronics technician. Subsequently, he was stationed at a naval telecommunications relay site in Moron, Spain. After his naval service, Mr. Gibson joined AT&T Communications as a communications technician and later was a staff manager. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Mary Gibson; his stepmother, JaniceAnn Gibson; and a brother, Kevin. Surviving are his father, Ronald Gibson and his wife, Carol; his siblings, Carol Rogers, Connie D’Aura, DanGibson, KatherineGibson-Swing and Ronald Gibson; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces and nephews. A private memorial service is being planned for a later date. The Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank, is in charge of the arrangements.
