‘Middle School Expressions’ at Ranney

An exhibit of artwork by students at Ranney School in Tinton Falls is on display through March 5 in the gallery at Ranney’s Panther Hall.

“Middle School Expressions” includes 2-D and 3-D artwork in a variety of mediums created by students in teacher Rebecca Sullivan’s Q1 and Q2 art classes. Some of the projects are: Fauvist oil pastel still life drawings and tunnel books by sixth-grade students; graphic design projects by sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students; ceramics inspired by life and monotype printmaking by seventh-grade students; and selfportrait paintings, architecture models and pop art sculptures by eighth-grade students.
